Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Room & Reverie does not store full credit card information. Stripe operates under its own privacy and security policies.

Client agreements are executed via SignWell. Signed documents are stored securely and governed by SignWell’s privacy practices.

7. Storage & Security

Client files and project information are stored using secure cloud-based tools, including Google Drive, with separate folders maintained for each client.

We take reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to improve functionality and understand visitor behavior.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Room & Reverie website and services. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to engage Room & Reverie’s services or enter into a binding agreement.

2. Website Use

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not misuse, copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit website content without written permission.

3. Services

Room & Reverie provides interior design and related consulting services. The scope of services, deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined in individual signed client agreements.

Nothing on this website constitutes a guarantee of specific results.

4. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. Payment schedules, deposits, refunds, and late fees are governed by the signed client agreement.

Failure to make payments as agreed may result in suspension or termination of services.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

Providing accurate measurements and information
Ensuring safe access to property
Hiring and supervising contractors
Verifying contractor compliance and execution

Room & Reverie is not responsible for construction errors, contractor performance, structural conditions, material defects, or inaccuracies in client-provided information.

6. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, drawings, mood boards, renderings, and materials created by Room & Reverie remain the intellectual property of Room & Reverie unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or use materials for commercial purposes without written consent.

7. Marketing & Portfolio Use

Project images or descriptions may only be used for marketing or portfolio purposes with written client consent.

Consent may be withdrawn by written request.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Room & Reverie shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or services.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services under the applicable agreement.

9. No Professional Construction Advice

Room & Reverie provides design consultation services only. We do not provide structural engineering, architectural certification, or legal advice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

12. Booking & Processing Timeframes

To secure services, clients must complete required onboarding steps within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt, including:

Signing the Client Agreement
Submitting required documentation
Completing payment via Stripe

If onboarding steps are not completed within forty-eight (48) hours, Room & Reverie will issue one reminder notice. Failure to complete the required steps within twenty-four (24) hours following the reminder may result in project pause or release of the booking.

Clients may request to resume services at a later date, subject to availability and updated pricing.

All previously submitted client information will remain securely stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

REFUND POLICY

Due to the customized and time-based nature of interior design services, all payments are non-refundable once design work has commenced.

Design work is considered commenced once project planning, concept development, sourcing, drafting, mood board creation, measurements review, or related preparatory work has begun.

If a client chooses to discontinue services after work has commenced, payment for work completed up to that point remains due and non-refundable.

Specific payment terms are outlined in the signed client agreement.
